OperaDelaware's YOUTH ARTIST WORKSHOP provides 11-13 year-old singers with an opportunity to improve their performance technique. Workshop classes are offered in everything from singing to scenic painting as students learn about all of the arts that make up an opera. (9:00am – 12:30pm daily, July 15-July 19, 2002) The deadline for registration is July 15, 2002. A lunch-time recital of opera and musical theater highlights is offered free to the public on July 19th at 12:00pm at OperaStudios. You may bring a bag lunch. Lemonade will be provided. FREE STUDENT GROUP DRESS REHEARSALS are available for mainstage productions. OperaDelaware opens its final, full-orchestra dress rehearsals to teachers and their student groups free of charge.
